4 Reasons to Shop Local this Winter with EasyGLAZE
“When you buy from a small business, an actual person does a happy dance.”
By now most of us will have seen this quote circling on social media, and as a small business we can 100% say it is true. We are so grateful for the support we have received from every single one of our customers and we are delighted with how happy they are with their new windows, doors and conservatories.
Beyond giving us support, there are also real benefits to the customer, community and the environment by shopping local with us.
Same products as national companies just at better prices.
It’s a common misconception that national companies install better products because they are dearer. In fact, we install the exact same products using a team of carefully picked professionals who have worked their way through the ranks of the major players in the industry. We just can offer it all at a better price. How is that possible you might ask? Well, our overheads are lower. Instead of splashing out on huge marketing campaigns to sell our products nationwide, we prefer to pass the savings on to our customers and focus on customer value and satisfaction.
Boost the local economy
This year has been a tough one for everyone and the economy has felt the pinch. This has made us more determined to do our bit to help support the local community. All of our products are manufactured in the UK but whenever possible, we use suppliers in the local area. Our growth has allowed us to create local jobs and we’re committed to generating more jobs as we grow. Plus we continue to build strong partnerships with other local small businesses, entrepreneurs and sponsors – working together to help the community thrive.
By shopping with us, our customers help support this vision and help provide a small boost for the local community.
A personal service
By focusing on the local area, it has allowed us to really refine our customer service and make sure our customers get the experience and value that they deserve. Being based in Dundee, with close proximity to Perth and Fife, we can often have someone out to provide a bespoke design consultation within 24 hours. Also, because we are only focused on the local community our lead times are generally shorter than that of larger companies. Plus if anything goes wrong, and we’re pretty sure it won’t but sometimes things happen, we can have someone out quickly to sort any snags.
Kinder to the planet
There is increasing pressure on us all to act more sustainably and create an eco-friendly culture. Smaller companies tend to have a smaller negative impact on the environment than national companies. By building a network of local suppliers and focusing on the local area, it has allowed us to reduce our carbon footprint further. By shopping locally, it helps customers reduce their carbon footprint too. Together, we can help protect the planet for future generations.
